1st Sep 2007, around 2:00 in the midnight — I, Sai Neha, was reading Sai Gyan Ganga. As I was busy reading the book, I suddenly realised someone was moving towards me. I was confused at that moment; as I moved, I saw the Shirdi Sai Baba pratima, the one in Satyadeep Sai Universe, Sofipur, Meerut — but from that pratima, Gurumaa was moving towards me. It was the Shirdi Sai Baba murti, but instead of Shirdi Sai Baba, Maa was coming out of that murti. I was amazed to see this.
As Maa came towards me, she sat cross-legged on the floor in front of me, called my mother, and told her to sit by my side. Maa put her palm on her cheek and took a deep breath. Then Maa looked at both of us and said, "I want to come close to you, but Sai Baba doesn't permit me to take this step." When she said so, I just kept looking into Maa's eyes, and the whole atmosphere turned even more silent.
After saying so, Maa looked at my mother's face, and then at mine, and said, "You never do pooja on time, no aarti on time, neither in morning nor in evening." When we heard this our heads bent down in shame, and we had no words in response. After this, Maa paused for a moment, and in the meantime my mother asked Maa, by my pet name, "You brought guriyaa out of the well of death — but now what is going to be next?" On this Maa answered spontaneously — "What next? Now she will work for Baba. You need not worry about her anymore. She is our daughter."
Listening to these words, my mother kept a pin-drop silence, and after some time asked about my brother by his name, "What about Nitin, Maa?" On hearing my brother's name, Maa just pointed her index finger to the sky, with a sweet and calm smile on her face. After having all this conversation, Maa stood up, moved back, and merged into the Shirdi Sai Baba pratima.
