5 September 05, Thursday, Delhi — a day when Sai Suresh was sitting in his office as usual. It was postnoon when Sai Suresh felt sudden pain in his chest, but continued seated quietly in his office. Since he was feeling uneasy, he walked half a km and reached Saint Stephen Hospital, Delhi, where he got himself diagnosed. The doctor immediately told him that he had suffered a major heart attack and should be admitted immediately, otherwise the condition could worsen.
When he got admitted, his wife, staying in Meerut, was informed in the meantime. On hearing this news, Sai Suresh's wife couldn't control herself and ran to inform Maa at her place. Without wasting time, Maa went under deep meditation and started her prayer. On being admitted, doctors took Sai Suresh for surgery, which lasted two hours — the doctors said his arteries were blocked, and they needed to place two stents in his artery.
Sai Suresh remembers that when his surgery was taking place, he could visualise Sai Baba and Maa with his naked eyes, standing in front of him and blessing him. Surgery was completed at around 3:30pm in the evening, and 15 minutes after surgery, Suresh immediately called Maa on mobile and talked to Maa and to his wife comfortably. After the successful conversation, doctors told Sai Suresh that it is not possible for a patient to talk on mobile for at least half an hour after heart surgery — and in his case, he had talked just 15 minutes after surgery, which is very unusual.
After his surgery, Sai Suresh again had a minor attack. When he informed Maa about it, doctor advised him to undergo angiography — on which Maa replied that there was now no use for him to undergo any type of operation. Sai Suresh faithfully followed the words of Maa, and from that day till today he has never faced any pain again. Sai Suresh feels that Sai Baba's blessings and Maa's prayer have blessed him with a unique source of energy, which has become his inspiration for living life gracefully.
